Peloponnese is known as one of the most historic wine regions of Greece. Homer already mentioned the wine tradition of Peloponnese which is full of vines and today is representing Greece with some of the most famous wineries.

Starting from Athens, you will have the opportunity to stay in the pretty town of Nafplion from where you will visit wineries in the region of Nemea which is known for the production of red wines and Argos and then continue to Monemvasia (important support point and fortress of the Byzantine Empire) where according to the season you may also have the chance to swim in the sea.

During your tour you will also have the chance to visit some important sites such as Mycenae, Epidaurus and the ancient Byzantine city of Mystras.
